Farley & Partners and Hogan Lovells Host Incident Response CLE
November 9, 2025
Major industrial accidents create a perfect legal storm that can pose significant challenges for even the most sophisticated organizations. On December 5, 2025, Farley & Partners LLP and the international law firm Hogan Lovells will co-host a seminar discussing the legal issues associated with the response to major industrial and transportation accidents.
Joining Mark Farley and Devon Downs will be Hogan partners Nadira Clarke and Lily Chinn. The presentation will discuss the primary legal issues implicated in a major accident including issues such as communication and stakeholder engagement, on-site documentation and evidence preservation, witness interviews, information requests, document productions, and internal investigations.
Farley and Downs are often a company’s first call after a fire, explosion, or toxic release. They have directed the response to more investigations by the U.S. Chemical Safety Board than any other lawyers in the United States.
“We are honored to collaborate with Hogan Lovells on this important topic.” said Partner Mark Farley. “We often work with Nadira and Lily as part of a ‘virtual firm’ because catastrophic incidents routinely trigger federal criminal investigations. In our experience, early coordination with white collar counsel is imperative.”
The program, which will take place in Houston, Texas, is qualified for 3.75 hours of Texas continuing legal education credit, including one hour of ethics. For additional information, please click on the button below.
